The European Sea Sports ‘Beginners Day'.

As one of the worlds fastest growing water sports activities, scuba diving is appealing to more and more people every year.

Gone are the days when scuba diving was just for the young and adventurous – now almost anyone can dive, it's easy, fun and cheap and there's no better introduction to the sport than the famous ‘EDC Beginners Day'® – since 1989 we've introduced diving to more than 75,000 happy customers.

Its so easy to do – if you're nervous or a non-swimmer don't worry – we've introduced thousands of people to the underwater world who thought they'd never do it – our famous ‘Beginners Day'® is so safe and well-organised you'll wonder what all the fuss was about !

After the morning check in, you will be given a comprehensive briefing on what to expect and how to do it. We show you examples of all the equipment used and carefully explain the purpose of each item and the right way to use them.

After this briefing we break you up into groups of 5 students with 3 PADI Escorts and you get to take your first breath underwater !

We start the diving from waist high water in a calm, sheltered bay with crystal clear visibility and comfortable warm water.

The Beginners Day includes a one or two dive option * – one in the morning and one in the afternoon. You dive to a maximum depth of 5 meters and for the whole dive there's always an Instructor right next to you to hold your hand or help out. You get to feed the fish, have your photo taken underwater and watch our Instructors display some amazing underwater entertainment.

Non Divers ( we call them Bubble-Watchers ! ) are very welcome to come along too, there's plenty of time between dives for sun-bathing, swimming or just enjoying the magnificent scenery of the beautiful Turkish coastline.
